Is your 4-year-old having trouble learning the sounds that correspond with each letter of the alphabet? Can your child identify pairs of rhyming words? Is forming letters properly a challenge?
These skills are early predictors of reading success. If your child is experiencing difficulty in any of these key areas, a multi-sensory approach, based on Orton-Gillingham, can help. Although many 4-year-olds are too young to learn how to read, it is an ideal time to begin building a good foundation for reading success. Once students acquire reading readiness skills, they will be better prepared for formal reading instruction in kindergarten.
Students must be at least 4 years old to enroll.
